Mushroom & Gruyere Eggplant Frychos
Make your dinner and a movie night extra special with our Italian-style Breaded Dominex Eggplant Fries topped with sautéed onions, garlic, mushrooms, and Gruyere cheese.
1 Box of Dominex Eggplant Fries
3 Tablespoons of Butter
1 medium Yellow Onion, diced
4 oz. of Sliced Mushrooms
2 Teaspoons of Minced Garlic
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
1 1/2 Cup of Shredded Gruyere Cheese
Dried Parsley to Garnish
Preheat oven to 400°F. Place Dominex Eggplant Fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 18-20 minutes, turning once to ensure crispness on both sides. While fries are baking, in a large skillet, add butter, sliced mushrooms, onions, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until onions and mushrooms are tender and brown. Remove fries from the oven and place on an oven-safe plate. Top fries with onion and mushrooms. Sprinkle shredded Gruyere cheese on top. Place back in the oven until cheese is melted, 3-5 minutes. (Or place in the microwave.) Garnish with dried parsley and serve.
