World's Best Eggplant Parmesan

Make Eggplant Parmesan at home that will rival some of the best Italian restaurants. Use our Dominex Eggplant Cutlets with Italian-style breading to create this recipe and have it in the oven in 10 minutes. Our eggplant cutlets are made from vine-ripened eggplant and are prepared and packaged within days of being harvested.




INGREDIENTS 1 box Dominex Eggplant Cutlets 1 jar of Pasta Sauce Shredded Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheese


DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 375° F. Coat the bottom of 8" x 8" baking pan with 1/2 cup of marinara sauce. Add a layer of Dominex Eggplant Cutlets and top with another 1/2 cup of the sauce and cheeses. Repeat twice (eggplant, sauce, and cheese), ending with remaining cheese. Bake for 35 mins. (Uncover for last 15 minutes of baking time.) Let set for 10 mins before serving.

I am planning to make an eggplant parm receipe. It looks as if the cutlets had been browned or fried before they were put in the pan. I used to make this from scratch and that is how we did it. Am I correct in thinking that the cutlets must be browned before being used in this dish? Thanks for an answer. Paul
